On 23rd May 2017, honorable Minister of Labour and Human Resources, who is also the Chairperson of Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Lyonpo Ngeema Sangay Tshempo, launched the GPP Knowledge Platform. The Knowledge Platform (http://gpp.rim.edu.bt) aims to i) disseminate all information on GPP gathered through the 3.5-year GPP Bhutan project and ii) continue as an information centre for all forthcoming knowledge and information in the GPP space in Bhutan. Forty (40) participants representing RIM management and faculty, government officers and other private and non-government agencies attend the launch of the knowledge platform.The Knowledge Platform has been developed by RIM with the support from project partners.

Speaking at the launch, Lyonpo Ngeema Tshempo said that the government continues to play the biggest role in green development as it is the largest buyer and thus building capacity for implementing GPP is very important.

In addition to providing information on GPP and latest developments regarding green procurement via the Knowledge Platform, RIM plans provide a courses related to GPP to the Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) students as well as a course in Sustainable  Supply Chain Management (SSCM) and tailor-made training to interested individuals from government, corporate and private sector.
