Ahmad's expertise lies in Sustainable Consumption and Production policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and communication. He has designed workshop-concepts for stakeholder-consultations on the development and prioritization of policy-recommendations towards implementing national industry strategies and mater plans for countries like Thailand. He furthermore is a co-author of two dedicated brochures each on energy-efficiency in buildings and in appliances.  

Prior to joining the CSCP, Ahmad has worked at the Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education in Pakistan where he looked after the implementation of a World Bank’s supported social-security program at the subnational level. Geographically, the scope of Ahmad’s work covers Asia Pacific, South Asia, and the European Union.
